District staff said architects contracted for design also perform construction administration on smaller projects and that for large projects the district engages a construction manager as the owner's representative.
Several commenters and union representatives raised repeated complaints about in-school heating failures during cold weather. Board member and staff responses confirmed the district had open work orders, cited broken coils in some classrooms with parts lead times, and said facilities staff and outside vendors are responding as parts become available.
Administration committed to providing bill-list copies on request, to post clearer committee minutes and project-status updates, and to continue weekly facilities coordination to resolve heating issues.
