Administrator: H2M hydraulic model nearing completion; public town hall to follow

Burl Clark, the borough administrator, told the council that consultant H2M has completed much of the technical work for the borough’s hydraulic study and that the draft report is in internal review.
Clark said H2M worked with the water department and the SCADA contractor to secure system data and calibrate the model, that a public presentation occurred July 30, and that SCADA downloads were provided to H2M in October to complete the model calibration. He said the draft report was ready for internal review the week of Dec. 1 and will be sent to borough staff for finalization before a public town-hall presentation is scheduled.
The administrator also said a preliminary flushing plan is being established so the fall flushing program can proceed, and staff will share status updates with residents to explain the timeline and what has taken place to date.
Council members asked when the water committee last met and when the promised in-person town hall would occur; staff said the public meeting will be scheduled after the consultant’s internal review and report delivery. No formal votes or operational changes were made at this meeting.
