"I am resigning. My family is relocating to Florida," Alexis said, thanking fellow council members, the mayor and residents for the opportunity to serve. She described the town as a model for civil discourse and urged continuing attention to housing conditions.
Mayor Lynch and other council members thanked Alexis for her service and noted she chaired the economic development committee and advanced the town’s transit-village application. The council accepted her announcement and offered public thanks; no formal vote on appointment or replacement was taken at the meeting.
The council adjourned after closing public comment and noting no members of the public had signed up to speak.
