Supervisor Brandon moved to table the item so the district supervisor (Trey) could participate at the next meeting; the motion carried by voice vote.
One local resident, Martha Ann Smith, addressed the board and said she opposed approval of a fabricated home on the property and asked for the board to consider neighborhood concerns. The board offered to accept written materials from the signatories and invited them to appear at the next meeting when the district supervisor is present.
Board members instructed staff to hold the item on the agenda for the April 20 board meeting and to distribute submitted letters to supervisors and county counsel ahead of that meeting. No final decision was made at the April 6 session.
