The city manager told council the governor approved the statewide one-time bonus, that the state would cover roughly 85% of the cost, and that the city27s local match would be under $2,000; Director Rex Road confirmed budget availability for the local share. The council moved, seconded and the measure carried on the record: “I motion carries,” the minutes record.
Separately, the city manager presented an application from Regina Hill for the DSS advisory board. Council moved and seconded to appoint Hill; the motion carried.
Councilors asked staff to proceed with implementation and to provide any paperwork needed for distribution of the bonuses and the advisory-board onboarding process.
