The reading of the resolution recounted Johnson’s career beginning in 1985 and her progression through several finance roles, including promotion to utility billing supervisor in 2013 and selection as city employee of the year in 2019. Council members applauded and invited Johnson forward to receive the presentation.
The mayor presented the resolution and council members voted to adopt it; the clerk’s attestation and mayoral signature were noted in the resolution language read into the record.
The council’s action formally recognizes Johnson’s long service and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to her.
