The West Chicago Infrastructure Committee on Aug. 7 unanimously approved a consent packet of contract awards covering road reconstruction, tree planting, aggregate purchases, chemicals and sewer rehabilitation.
The committee voted to approve resolutions 25‑R‑0052, 25‑R‑0053, 25‑R‑0054, 25‑R‑0055, 25‑R‑0056, 25‑R‑0058, 25‑R‑0059 and change order 25‑R‑0061 after Chairperson Morano pulled items 4F and 4I for separate discussion. Alderman Dimas moved to approve the remaining consent items; Alderman Beebe seconded and a roll call recorded all aye votes.

The approvals move several city procurement items to execution and keep multiple maintenance and capital projects on schedule, according to committee remarks. The committee then proceeded to consider the two items it had pulled from the consent packet.
