Metronet outlines plan to bring 100% fiber to Burr Ridge; construction to start in spring

Brockett said Metronet serves more than 2 million homes and businesses in 19 states and offers asymmetrical speeds currently ranging from 1 to 5 gigabits per second in some communities. She called full-fiber connections “reliable” and said studies show fiber deployments can produce local economic benefits and higher housing values.
