Committee members described recurring constituent complaints about tractor-trailer parking on shoulders, narrow rural roads and the need to coordinate local ordinances with state code. DelDOT offered to work with legislators on language or follow-up amendments to address enforcement and overlap with municipal codes.
Following discussion a motion to release HB 362 was made, seconded and carried in committee.
