The easements will be exchanged for $1, and the city will require Urban Bridges to restore any pavement disturbed when accessing their laterals.
Council members asked whether the city would assume any infrastructure repair costs; staff replied public‑side repairs remain the city's responsibility but private laterals would be Urban Bridges' responsibility and that the easement language will reflect those responsibilities. The committee approved the ordinance.
