Curtis also told businesses to make sure carbon monoxide and smoke detectors are working and said extinguishers should be mounted about 3 feet from the ground. He said businesses with current licenses should "notify the village and they will schedule us," and added that the department will conduct some random inspections going forward to keep up "before we get flooded."
