Hope Mills board backs CLG certification for Historic Preservation Commission

An HPC representative and former commissioner Joanne Scarola discussed practical steps, and the board reached consensus to support certification and to register a staff member and Commissioner Marley as the governing-body liaison for training when the courses are scheduled.
Staff said the required training is typically brief (several hours) and may be offered virtually or in-person; staff will track upcoming trainings and register the necessary attendees.
