Pike County authorizes Ride Solutions to access federal 5311 funds

Beth Browning, speaking on behalf of Ride Solutions, told commissioners that the Indiana Department of Transportation requires a county authorization resolution in order for Ride Solutions to serve Pike County and use federal 5311 funds. The resolution formalizes the county’s participation in the grant through which the program is funded.
Commissioner Jeff Nelson moved to authorize the resolution and Commissioner Ryan Coleman seconded; the board approved the authorization 3-0. The action allows Ride Solutions to be included in the grant and to proceed with service arrangements that rely on 5311 funding.
