Larimer County promotes free 'Dare to Prepare' and community trainings for residents and HOAs

Allard said the county offers these classes in multiple formats and languages and provides a raffle or kit giveaway for those who attend both parts of some offerings.
Allard said the courses are intended to move beyond lecture-style sessions by using group-led discussion and community storytelling to identify practical steps participants can take immediately (72-hour kits) and over longer recovery timelines. She encouraged organizers or HOA leaders to contact the county to request a tailored session, noting minimal AV requirements and a typical duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for the community workshop.
