Among the items on the consent agenda were approval of regular meeting minutes (Jan. 13, 2025), receipt of Street & Pathway and Plan Commission minutes, ordinances to annex and rezone several Normandy Court properties (rezoning from R1 to R3), and an ordinance amending chapter 8 (storm water runoff) to adopt the Cook County watershed management ordinance by reference (as amended Jan. 9, 2025). The consent package also included an ordinance authorizing online auction sales of village-owned personal property (police and Public Works vehicles).
Contract awards approved on the consent agenda included a road servicing contract to Schroeder Asphalt Services of Huntley, Ill., in the amount of $99,100 and a three-year mosquito-management contract with Clark Environmental Mosquito Management for $146,700. The purchase of a portable public-works generator from Multi Equip Inc. (Cypress, Calif.) for $47,800 was also listed on the consent agenda. The board approved multiple raffle-license requests and several vendor lists with combined fund totals recorded in the agenda packet.
A trustee moved and the board seconded the omnibus motion; roll-call votes were recorded as unanimous 'yes.' No items were removed for separate discussion at that time. The omnibus approval was recorded in the minutes and will stand unless a trustee later requests removal and separate consideration.
