LaGrange County Council members approved several routine items at their March 9 meeting, including legal claims, the Parks annual report, and a sheriff purchase request.
President James R. Young presented legal claims totaling $47,289 from law firm Beers Mallers for January 2026; Young moved to approve and Karen S. Eagleson seconded; the motion carried unanimously (6-0, Harold D. Gingerich absent).
Ryan J. Riegsecker moved to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2026 regular session; Jeffrey A. Campos seconded and the motion carried. Mary Franke, Parks Director, presented the Parks Department annual report and the council approved the report on a motion from Riegsecker, seconded by Campos (carried unanimously).
Sheriff Tracy Harker requested use of $11,800 from Commissary Funds to pay for a Tech 84 annual service agreement; Mike Strawser moved approval, Jeff Campos seconded and the motion carried unanimously (6-0).
With no additional business the council adjourned to meet as necessary.
