The Planning & Transportation Commission approved a staff recommendation to authorize a summer recess and cancel the regular July 7 and July 21, 2025 meetings. Commissioners said the move was intended to align the commission schedule with school vacation timing to improve community participation.
Vice Chair Garvey moved to authorize the cancellations; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously on roll call. Staff thanked commissioners and city council for coordinating the schedule change. The Commission will next meet in a special session on June 16 (6 p.m.) and then resume regular meetings beginning August 4, 2025.
