St. Clair Shores rolls out Music on the Lake lineup and approves 'Spring into Wellness' downtown event

St. Clair Shores — Council members on April 6 heard an announcement of the 2026 Music on the Lake summer concert series and approved a downtown special event called "Spring into Wellness."
An activities committee representative introduced the summer lineup, saying the season opens June 3 at Veterans Park and listing several acts including the Lawson Brothers (country), Nameless (classic rock), a Bob Seger tribute by Catmandu, Capture Detroit (Journey tribute), Kathleen Murray and the Groove Council, Stone Blossoms, Family Tradition, and Bluewater Kings. The presenter also thanked sponsors including Pediprint and the Galling Automotive Group.
Council later approved a staff request to host Spring into Wellness downtown on April 25, a first-time event featuring interactive wellness vendors, free classes, an adult field day, food trucks and family activities. Council member Rebello praised the organizer’s energy and moved to approve the event; Council member Russie seconded and the motion passed by voice vote.
Council members encouraged public participation in the summer series and thanked sponsors and the activities committee for supporting longstanding community events. The council also noted logistics for boats to tune radios to concerts on the lake and encouraged community engagement at the downtown wellness event.
