During routine business the Wissahickon School District board approved a slate of consent items including minutes from committee and public meetings, the February 28 treasurer's report, and HR items covering retirements, resignations, appointments and contracted counseling services.
A settlement agreement presented by the board solicitor, described in the meeting as "by and between Family A and the Wahhicken School District," was approved; the solicitor read a not-to-exceed amount of $765. Motions for the consent slate and settlement were made and passed by voice votes.
Finance items included approval of a legal retainer for outside counsel and a $300 waiver of Policy 707 to permit Kuanas Club field use during the Fourth of July carnival. The meeting record shows these items passed without recorded roll-call votes.
