Auditor reports 'clean' annual audit for fiscal year ending June 30, 2025

Kathy Perry of Jump Perry & Company presented the annual audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, telling the board the audit involved testing payroll, invoices, bidding and grant spending and that the auditors found no reportable findings requiring Department of Education notification. "We had no findings," Perry said, adding that the board office was helpful and that the final financial statement would be filed in the coming days.
Perry noted the audit period testing occurred recently and that items due Jan. 1, 2026, were being handled; filings that were due on Dec. 5 (as read in the meeting) had been submitted. Board members thanked the auditor and staff for the work that produced the clean report.
What this means
A clean audit means the auditors did not identify instances of material noncompliance or misapplied grant funds that must be reported to the Department of Education based on the testing described in the presentation. The administration said final financial statements will be filed shortly.
Next steps
The auditor will file the final financial statement in the coming days and the board will receive any final documentation associated with the audit filing.
