The New Haven Board of Alders on a voice vote approved a package of zoning, land-use and administrative items, including zoning map amendments to increase housing capacity, acceptance of a state grant for a park pier, property dispositions to the New Haven Land Bank and Neighborhood Housing Services, and authorization of a $247,000 agreement for school-based growing containers.

The board moved the item for immediate action.
Other administrative approvals included a four-year lease for 80 golf carts with DLL Finance LLC for the Memorial Golf Course and reclassification of two labor relations positions intended to improve recruitment.
