The Red Bank Zoning Board of Adjustment carried the application for 191 Bridge Avenue to Feb. 5, 2026, after counsel and the applicant’s attorney told the board the application contained inconsistencies between the engineering and architectural drawings.
At the Jan. 15 meeting board counsel reported that 191 Bridge RBL LLC had noticed for the evening but that inconsistencies between the engineering plans and architectural plans remained. Counsel said the applicant asked for an adjournment to correct those deficiencies and had consented to extend the statutory review period to avoid an automatic approval.
"They recognized per your review letter that there were some inconsistencies between the engineering plans and the architectural plans... they wisely decided that they would just take an adjournment to correct some of those deficiencies," board counsel Kevin Kennedy told the board.
Kennedy reported that applicant attorney Dan O'Harn provided consent on behalf of his client. The board carried the application without the need for further public notice and reset the matter for Feb. 5, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
Board members discussed that a recent, rapid revision to the applicant’s architectural submission created the mismatch and that carrying the application should save the applicant the time and expense of a full re-noticing. No substantive hearing on the merits occurred at the meeting; the matter was continued to the new date.
