In closed session earlier in the meeting the board announced it had voted unanimously to appoint Lesli Peabody as director of transportation services; that appointment was confirmed in open session as part of the report of closed‑session actions.
Following a public hearing with no public speakers, a board member moved to approve the Energy savings HVAC project to upgrade campus systems and install MERV‑13 filters in classrooms; the motion passed by voice vote. The project had been presented earlier as a public hearing item.
