Delaware County commissioners approve routine consent items, appointment and contracts

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine resolutions and votes during its regular meeting. Vice chair Gary Merrell and Commissioner Barb Lewis voted to approve records, purchase orders and other consent items; one member, Mr. Benton, was recorded as absent.
Jane Hos, director of communications, presented a resolution recommending Kristen Warren to serve on the Ohio Children's Trust Fund Central Ohio Child Abuse and Child Neglect Regional Prevention Council to replace Jeff Cell, who was not able to continue. "We recommend your approval," Hos told the commissioners; the board voted to confirm the appointment.
Justin Na'vi, director of finance, presented a supplemental-appropriations resolution to allow the health district to use additional monies for a litter grant and to post an accounting adjustment to the Evans Farm tax increment financing (TIFF). Na'vi said the resolution "has been submitted to allow the health district to utilize additional monies on the litter grant as well as to post an accounting adjustment to the Evans farm TIFF." Commissioners approved the supplemental appropriations; the transcript did not state the dollar amounts.
A program administrator identified in the record as "Sous" described roughly 40 Title 4D contracts between the Delaware County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Delaware County Prosecutor's Office, the Delaware County Domestic Relations Court and the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. "These are 40 contracts that we've had in place for several years now," the presenter said, adding that increases for the domestic relations court and prosecutor's office reflect salary and payroll changes while the sheriff's contract cost decreased under a different state budget calculation. The board approved the contracts.
The board also voted to forward a liquor-license transfer for Cheius Food Inc. DBA Red Bank Pizza and Cafe to the Ohio Division of Liquor Control with no objection and set a final hearing to vacate and relocate a portion of the Magnamera ditch and drainage easement. A travel-expense request and the approval of electronic records from the prior meeting were also approved. There was no public comment at the meeting.
The commissioners adjourned routine business and moved on to administrator and commission-office reports.
