Mobile City Planning Commission approves multiple subdivisions, waivers and a PUD modification

The Mobile City Planning Commission on March 19, 2026 approved a slate of subdivision applications, granted several waivers of subdivision standards and a sidewalk waiver, and approved a major modification to a previously approved planned unit development.

The commission approved the resubdivision at 2237 and 2247 Bear Fork Road, the cottages at Spring Hill subdivision at 5070 Old Shell Road (with conditions two and three struck from staff recommendations), subdivisions at 360 Palmetto Street and 1805 Larkwood Drive, waivers related to right-of-way and lot standards for applications on Lava Creek Parkway, 2200 Green Street and Edward Street, and a sidewalk waiver for 3180 Dolphin Street (Brew Horizons LLC). The commission also approved a major modification to the PUD at 1879 Conception Street that will allow two electrical buildings with a combined footprint of roughly 1,200 square feet.
