Yucaipa council approves letters of support, maintenance agreement and city contracts; adopts election resolutions

Letters of support for Student Safe 360
Staff recommended the council authorize the mayor to execute letters of support for the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority's Student Safe 360 initiative, which aims to improve student pedestrian, bicycle and transit safety and includes education and infrastructure elements. Staff said the authority will pursue funding from the state Active Transportation Program and the federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program. The council approved staff's recommendation by voice vote.
