Evanston pilot reports 247 genome results delivered, web and compliance work to continue through June

"We will meet our goal of having a more polished result delivery system by June the 30th which was the commitment," Davis said. She described the web development, database, genomic analysis and compliance (including HIPAA/security) work that remains.
On results numbers: Davis reported 247 participants have already received results, another roughly 130 will receive results in the next batch, and the pilot contracted capacity is around 1,600 kits (with roughly 1,000 kits remaining to fulfill). She said the team is adding genotype data from Ghana to expand reference coverage and that genomic‑analysis tools are being integrated in phases.
Committee members asked whether participants who later receive updated genotype matches will receive automated notices; Davis said only the initial result triggers an automated email but that adding update notifications is a feasible enhancement to add by June. The committee also discussed outreach and local events to explain results to participants.
Next steps: staff will continue web and compliance buildout, run incoming genotype batches, and return with an update on the delivery timeline and communication plan.
