Staff said the restaurant, pro shop and front entrance were not ready and that the clubhouse would not open until all parts were complete. Staff estimated that front-entrance work could take four to six weeks and said it was uncertain whether full power from IID (as referred to in the meeting) was finalized.
Vice Chairperson Kelly Garcia reported today’s visits to Miles Park and the Miles Dog Park, noting regular use in the evenings and overall improvement in conditions while acknowledging minor ongoing issues. Garcia reminded the commission that festival season is approaching and asked commissioners to plan extra travel time for events.
A commissioner asked to be notified by email about any planned ribbon-cutting or grand-opening for the clubhouse so they could attend.
The meeting adjourned with no further formal business.
