The Planning & Zoning Commission voted April 7 to recommend that city council approve a special‑use permit allowing a financial advising office to operate at 15325 Summit Park Drive, Suite 107. Staff said the property is zoned industrial and the special‑use permit allows the service use in that district subject to conditions.
Applicant Mary Davidson, introduced by staff as a representative, described services including retirement and investment planning and said the office would operate Monday–Friday roughly 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Commissioners and staff discussed lease length and building utilities; staff told the commission this building’s suites have separate restrooms and that overall utility and engineering studies for the larger development already account for restroom and water demand.
The commission recommended the permit to city council with the staff‑recommended conditions (the permit is subject to change in case of change in ownership, change in operations or termination of business) and recorded the motion as passed by voice vote.
