Eagleville High to get $1.1 million synthetic turf field through donor partnerships

The board packet also included work to add softball/baseball infields and irrigation at additional cost estimates ($81,500) to be covered by donated services.
Board members praised the donors' contributions. "We can't thank enough Smyrna Ready Mix and the Souls and everybody involved," one member said, noting the value of donated infrastructure that the district could not otherwise afford. The administration confirmed that all required TDEC permits will be obtained by the contractor as part of the project.
Next steps: The board received the request and placed the project on the agenda for further action at a subsequent meeting; engineering review in the packet raised no objections and the administration will finalize permitting and contracting details before construction begins.
