Zoning map amendment ZMA25002 would rezone approximately 23.19 acres at 2305 Farm District Road from SF20 (single‑family 20,000‑square‑foot minimum) to OSP (Open Space and Parks). Senior planner Alisa Johansson said the OSP designation supports neighborhood, community and regional parks, golf courses and similar recreational uses and that the change would align zoning with the underlying master‑plan intent. One member of the public spoke in favor of a park at the location. The commission recommended the rezoning 7–0.
The commission also recommended approval of comprehensive master plan amendment MPA25003 to change roughly 2.29 acres at 60 Sage Street from low‑density residential to commercial to correct an inadvertent mapping inconsistency and to support feasible commercial development at a corner site. Staff noted historical drainage concerns for that parcel that would need to be addressed at the development stage. The commission recommended the master plan amendment 7–0; these city‑led recommendations will be forwarded to the city council for final action.
