Public Works and staff answered council questions about drainage design, noting the proposed work will be designed as part of any grant and that discussions had occurred with the school about routing runoff into the school’s holding pond.
Councilors asked about crown design, French drains and how far the improvements would extend; staff replied that drainage design is part of the ultimate grant application and that the work would likely stop where commercial parking lots begin.
The council moved, seconded and approved the map application by voice; members recorded their support during the meeting.
