A motion to move the meeting to Nov. 6, 2024 while excluding those items was made and seconded. The board then took a roll-call vote: Member Thomas voted yes, Member W voted yes, Member Plan Carte was absent, Vice President Jones voted yes and President Hill was absent. The motion carried.
The action changes the schedule for the district’s public business but leaves the recognition and the legally required closed-session expulsion matter to be addressed without delay. The board recessed to closed session and announced it would reconvene at 6:00 p.m. the following day.
