City officials said construction remains likely several years away and that DOT indicated Bridge Street would be addressed before the Corell Street structure.
Council moved to adopt Resolution 80-2026 and the motion carried unanimously.
No construction schedule or bid dates were finalized at the meeting; officials said DOT is still working through initial design requirements and that more detailed timelines and public notices will follow as the project advances.
