The Lodi Village Council on Monday adopted multiple emergency ordinances and approved public-safety equipment purchases during a regularly scheduled meeting.
Council suspended the three-reading rule and unanimously passed ordinances authorizing the mayor and clerk to enter contracts with Harrisville Township for fire protection and prevention services and, separately, for emergency medical services and equipment. The council also passed an emergency ordinance asking the Medina County Auditor to make tax advances for 2026 under Sections 321.34 and 321.341 of the Ohio Revised Code.
