Ulster County committee approves long list of routine resolutions; one item amended

The Ulster County Ways and Means Committee on Feb. 12 approved a long series of resolutions amending the 2026 operating budget, salary schedules and position listings, and moved several capital and contract authorizations forward.
Chair Collins opened the meeting and members adopted the regular meeting minutes before taking up a grouped set of routine items. Many resolutions were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote with little discussion. Legislators singled out local education items, with a legislator representing Marboro thanking colleagues for support of the Marboro School District's preschool special education program.
