District leaders told the board that Montour School District will rejoin the Project Succeed consortium for the remainder of this year and into next year, bringing approximately a dozen students into district programming. The superintendent said Montour had left previously and is now returning to the consortium.
The superintendent also previewed several personnel items that will be on the agenda for approval at the next meeting: three resignations, appointments for food service and activity sponsors, two sabbatical requests and one family/medical leave. The district plans to post vacancies to backfill the positions.
Board members exchanged brief procedural remarks about scheduling and calendars and received reports on community events. There was no public comment during the meeting. The superintendent and staff emphasized that these personnel and consortium items will be presented as standard consent or business agenda items at the next meeting and that additional information will be provided when board action is requested.
