Board ratifies tentative agreement with National Union of Healthcare Workers

The Elk Grove Unified School District board voted unanimously to approve a tentative agreement with the National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW) covering the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years.
Mr. Riley opened a public hearing on the tentative agreement and told the board the agreement "has been ratified by a vote of the NUHW membership." He also said the AB1200 fiscal analysis required for negotiated agreements was prepared and approved by the Sacramento County Office of Education.
After opening and closing the public hearing with no speakers, the board moved to ratify the agreement. The motion was moved by Mr. Yang, seconded by Miss Berini, and carried unanimously.
The district filed the AB1200 report as part of the record and the board did not add additional public conditions to the ratification during the meeting.
