Westford marks busy spring: restaurant week, Taste of Westford, Apple Blossom Festival and Westford 300 planning

Alex Svensson and Emily Collins reported on multiple community events: Westford Restaurant Week (May 15through May 20) culminating in the Taste of Westford on May 21 at The Orchard; the inaugural town week will feature special menus and tastings from participating restaurants, bakeries, breweries and caterers and a People's Choice Awards to be announced at the May 21 event.
The hosts said the Westford Kiwanis will host the Apple Blossom Festival May 13through May 17 with carnival rides, evening hours and a parade on Saturday, May 16 beginning at Main Street and Graniteville Road and proceeding to Abbott School. The weekend includes a fireworks display by American Thunder Fireworks at 9 p.m. Saturday.
The Westford 300 committee continues planning for the town's 2029 tricentennial and invited residents to a public planning meeting on Sunday, May 17 at the Westford Museum; an online questionnaire is available for residents who cannot attend. The segment also noted recognition for a Westford Academy student in the 2026 congressional art competition and thanked regional judges and museums.
