Sergeant Mike Shock told the Sherwood Village Council on Dec. 17 that patrols responded to 91 calls for service in November, including 34 business checks, nine traffic stops (one citation issued), one traffic accident and six arrests.
Shock said the previously discussed go‑kart driver has been warned to stay off village roads. He reported that someone attempted to break into the shelter house at Moat's Park but the park camera footage was too distant to identify the person; he said he would follow up after the meeting. He also noted complaints about a driver going very fast down a vacated alley and said he would try to locate the probable driver and request they slow down. Shock asked for an updated 2026 council meeting schedule to share with the Defiance County Sheriff’s Office.
The discussion was informational; no formal actions or new enforcement measures were recorded in the minutes at the meeting.
