The council approved purchasing a half-page ad in the Fairview Yearbook for $110 (motion by Mike Sudholtz, seconded by Scott Rohrs). The Electric Aggregation supplier will continue to be Dynegy at a rate of $0.00899 per kWh under a one-year contract starting Dec. 2025; opt-out instructions will be mailed to qualifying residents. Council also approved buying two-way radios for village employees to help with traffic direction.
Chief Darrel Rock presented two Fire/EMS applicants, Desirae Mack and Courtney Bennett; Councilor Robert Valle moved to accept the applicants provided they pass background checks, the motion was seconded by Scott Rohrs and recorded as approved.
The minutes reflect multiple motions to enter and exit executive sessions for legal matters and a final motion to adjourn.
