"That $14,000 in local tax money is a pretty big deal," Lucas said, praising staff work on the applications and coordination with ADCA representatives.
The resolution authorizes the mayor to execute a contract with Rogers Group after standard approvals. Council documents and staff statements indicate the city solicited bids in accordance with CDBG and ARC requirements and found Rogers Group to be the lowest responsive bidder; the contract award was approved by roll call vote, five to zero.
