Somerville proclaims Hispanic Heritage Month, honors staff role in outreach

Sarah Perez, introduced by the mayor as a borough employee involved in cultural engagement, thanked the council and said she was honored to serve the community. The proclamation recited federal history of the observance and local goals to celebrate cultural contributions.
