Separately, the court approved two part‑time EMT hires (Aiden Lynn and Michael Dickens) and authorized going out for bids on two new sheriff interceptors (budgeted). The court also authorized public bidding for dirt work to create three pads on lot one of the industrial park and approved contracting with a project-management consultant (Jim Mo) to assist with several projects.
The court reviewed a contract with the Nelson County Cooperative Extension Service 4‑H Shooting Sports club and approved the club spending its own funds to reorient an existing trap field to reduce sun glare; staff reported neighbors had been supportive.
All actions were taken by motion and voice vote; the transcript records motions, seconds and the chair’s announcement that motions carried.
