District files for extension after Department of Education fiscal caution; five-year forecast to be presented in May

Beth said the district intends to present an updated five-year forecast and a plan to address the fiscal caution at the May board meeting.
Beth noted uncertainty about receipt of the HB 186 computations and emphasized the extension’s role in allowing staff to prepare the required plan and forecast. No formal board action was taken beyond accepting the update and scheduling the plan for the May meeting.
