The manager said Jet A sales were up significantly compared with the same time last year and that total sales for November across Jet A, avgas and related fees were reported at about $62,000 (he cautioned some sales had not yet posted to accounts). He noted several repeat corporate flights expected over the holidays. "We went through three fuel tankers this last month," he said.
On operations, staff presented a draft temporary aircraft storage agreement to track overnight and maintenance storage, fees and owner responsibilities; commissioners asked that the form be simplified (one‑page, clear fee schedule) and that staff add a front page showing the fee schedule. The manager said the form would help document temporary storage and better track the kinds of aircraft using airport facilities.
Regarding fuel infrastructure, the above‑ground system is functional but the automatic reel has a broken chain. The manager said a representative from Innovative Fuel will bring a replacement master link and that the chain repair is believed to be under warranty. The below‑ground tank has been drained to pump capacity; staff is waiting on the contractor lead (Victor) and his supervisor to schedule further excavation and removal of remaining fuel. "He thinks the chain is under warranty, so the chain repair would be free," the manager said.
Staff also noted Survival Flight continued to use the system without reported problems. Commissioners asked for updates on timing and for staff to notify pilots when service mode changes (manual fueling vs. brief self‑service interruptions) are expected.
Staff will return with a simplified temporary storage agreement, confirmation on fuel system repairs and timing for below‑ground work.
