McCall chamber reports wide RFP response for tourism contracts, previews events

Francis said the chamber is finishing a five-year Request for Proposals process tied to Idaho Travel Council grant contracts and has received more responses than expected. "We received nearly 30 different agencies, 40 different website proposals," she said, calling the response "really great" and stressing that the chamber treats marketing as "strategic investments."
She also previewed the summer issue of Visit McCall (focused on UTV recreation and destination management), a dog-resource guide to help residents and visitors know where dogs may be exercised, and several nonprofit events tied to Idaho Gives, including a nonprofit speed-dating event and a community fair with more than 20 nonprofits participating.
Francis invited council members to business-after-hours and spring membership events and said the chamber will share who it selects for contracted services after the review process concludes.
What happens next: the chamber will conclude the RFP process this fall, publish vendor selections and circulate event details to the public and council members.
