At the meeting the county engineer said construction costs were currently estimated between $4 million and $5 million. The board moved to approve the professional services agreement (motion by Warren; second by Mixon) and the motion passed with no recorded roll-call tally.
The contract authorizes design work and does not itself fund construction; any future construction authorization or appropriation will be brought to the board for separate action.
