Louisa County adopts FY2027 budget amid one dissent

The board indicated that procedural questions about departmental reporting frequency will be addressed separately, and members were reminded that further budget amendments can be filed if circumstances change before the end of the fiscal year.

The resolution vote is the formal adoption of the county budget; the board did not record further detail about the dissenting vote beyond the notation that one supervisor said, “I opposed.”
