The board approved minutes from the Feb. 23 regular meeting and committee minutes without comment. Financial items 701–704, facilities items 1101–1116, curriculum recommendations 1201–1209, and finance items 1301–1322 were each moved, seconded and passed by recorded votes of 8–0. Human resources items 1401–1405 also passed 8–0; Dr. White offered remarks of gratitude related to item 1401 for Superintendent Dr. Jack Silva.
These approvals were recorded by roll call and polled by district staff. No public controversy or amendments accompanied these motions; the board then moved to committee reports and an extended public-comment period on districtwide free lunch policy.
The board adjourned following the conclusion of public comment and a brief open forum.
